The Art / Artist:
In considering the "Festival" theme, what came to mind for Bene Rohlmann (Berlin, Germany based artist) was joy, dancing, drugs, easiness, sleepiness, and fireworks. This design somehow captures the energy of all these experiences into one vibrant, frenetic scene inspired by ceremony and celebration from all around the world.

Evoking vintage Japanese cartoons and product labeling, the characters at the top of the design read "Insomnia," and serve as a tacit narrative of the fever dream unfolding below. Drawing on themes and characters pervasive in his concert poster work - Bene's bold design is a nod to the music, the energy, and the color that make up the "Festival" experience.

Bandits bandanas don't just look Great, they do good across the globe! For every bandana we sell, BANDITS DONATES 10% of the sales proceeds TO different charities chosen by each design's artist.

The Charity:
Berliner Obdachlosenhilfe E.V. (or "Berlin Homeless Help" in English) is a nonprofit organization that leads and organizes what they call "helping tours" on the streets of Berlin. On these tours, the organization staff and volunteers visit targeted areas in the city to homeless and at-risk individuals with warm meals, water, coffee, tea, fruit, sandwiches, clothing, sleeping bags, and camping mats. Since 2013, BOE has organized several weekly tours in hopes of making life easier for the most disadvantaged communities in the city.
